We are simply delighted with the double side extension and rear ground floor extension that Conrad and his team of trusted tradesmen completed for us in 2019. Conrad was at all times professional, honest, thorough and incredibly competitively priced. From start to finish, we felt completely safe in his hands and of those who worked for him.

Having taken a massive risk in buying a very dilapidated renovation project, it was necessary for Conrad and his team to be on site full time, for a few months. He worked to our architect’s plans and understood our desire to sympathetically renovate and improve the house which had been originally designed by a distinguished local architect in 1928 George. C. Gadd. We felt a huge responsibility to get the renovation of the house just right, as it is a small piece of Bromsgrove’s history and links with the Bournville Cadbury family; Conrad was completely onside with this.

The scale and ambition of the project was huge but Conrad’s calm, professional approach was incredibly reassuring. He skillfully managed all of the electricians, plumbers, carpenters, roofers, scaffolders, concreters, underfloor heating specialists and plasterers.

We would recommend Conrad without hesitation to anyone considering either large or small scale building projects. His experience and knowledge of all aspects of building, and the excellent relationships he has with all of the local tradespeople he works alongside in his team, means that he is an excellent choice.

Nothing was too much trouble for him and every question that we had was answered in detail. It is quite rare to find someone so completely honest and trustworthy in this day and age, but Conrad is certainly that! We look forward to welcoming him back to complete a few more building jobs for us in the future.

We contracted Conrad Davis to build an extension to the rear of our bungalow in 2019 under PDR.

The ground work, plumbing and electrical  services were sourced independently by us. Conrad made no fuss about this and worked well with the other contractors.

We asked Conrad to give us a time frame for when the job would be completed which he stuck to for the part of the build he was contracted to do. We were very happy with the results, he is conscientious and accommodating.

He was fair when it came to billing the few extras we requested. Conrad is an established builder of many years in the Bromsgrove area and there is a reason for that, he does what he says he is going to do.

Conrad recently completed a full building refurbishment for me over several months resulting in an Edwardian semi being transformed from a very neglected building with no improvements having been made for over 40 years into a modern 21st century home which included a loft conversion and ground floor extension, and much more besides, to current construction requirements.

Conrad undertook all of the major structural issues which included the removal and replacement of load bearing walls, doorways and openings, a full roof strip and retile, the general management of all key trades and on-going liaison with building control inspectors.

He was sensible in his costing and there were no nasty surprises at any time. Additional costs arising from unforeseen issues (e.g. water supply) were discussed openly and mutually agreed. Any changes or difficulties were met with good humour and patience throughout which bears testament to his extensive experience and calm approach.

This was the second time Conrad has done work for me and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

We have never used this company before and with building companies you are never to sure what you are going to get!!. How wrong we were with this company. We recently had a large side extension built by Conrad Davies building services. We were really impressed from the outset. The foundations were dug very efficiently and passed off by the building instructor that day!The build went up quickly and the brickwork was extremely neat. Conrad uses well established tradesmen and everything is done to a high standard, in a timely manner and to schedule. Conrad and all the tradesmen were friendly and trustworthy, which made us feel at ease. At one point we climbed up on the scaffolding to look at the roof when the rafters were up and it looked amazing!

Conrad was able to give advice on the best type of ceiling, and we opted for a mixture of flat and vaulted, which gives the inside a real wow factor! We also had 2 velux windows put
into the roof. Conrad was able to get a good deal on bifold doors and they were fitted by an expert and look great!

Everything from the plumbing to the plaster work and painting was of a high standard. We have never had an extension before and were a bit apprehensive, but we needn’t have been because we 100% picked the right builder. The extension is now finished and we love it! Big thanks to Conrad and his team for making it all so easy for us and at a competitive price!

Conrad Davies Building Services were the builders on our Georgian House extension during early 2010. The project involved matching up to existing brickwork, doing trial mortar runs, building a two storey extension at the rear of the property, building a garden wall, courtyard wall, laying a patio and building a new double garage.

The brickwork is of the highest standard, the mortar was mixed to blend in well with the existing. Being an older property in a conservation area we were concerned that the extension may stand out but we couldn’t have been more wrong.

All of Conrad’s team were good quality, trustworthy, reliable and likeable guys, we would have no hesitation in recommending them and would certainly use them again.

Just a quick note about the extension that you built for us – we’re really please with it. The carpet went down last week following completion of the decorating and the furniture is still to come which is why, in the attached photos, the room looks empty.
